The Blast cycling races are some of the most anticipated cycling races for both junior level cyclists and professionals of national standing. The feature Pro 1-2 race finishes under the lights in front of our large, supportive crowd.
The Hyde Park Blast features the components that make criterium cycling racing an American legacy: the course is challenging and showcases one of Cincinnati’s most historic entertainment and retail districts; the large crowds come for the fun of the day-long event; and, the large crowd and broad community support make the Hyde Park Blast a strong marketing opportunity for our sponsors.
New in 2009 was the alliance between the Hyde Park Blast on Saturday, June 27th, and the Tour De Grandview in Columbus, Ohio. on Sunday, June 28th. Top professional cyclists from the U.S. and around the world will compete for more than $13,000 in prize money at these two events.
